This is where the stakes change. An agent does not just talk; it acts. It can log into your email, book a flight, respond to a message, move money, and submit a form without you touching a keyboard. GenAI is a voice. An agent is a hand with access to your entire desktop.

If you cannot identify which "doll" a tool belongs to, you cannot assess its risk. Most companies are treating AI Agents like upgraded chatbots. They are not. A chatbot can only talk to you. An agent can act for you and against you, if it's compromised or misconfigured.
Giving an agent access to your email or local drive while thinking of it as "just a chatbot" is the equivalent of handing someone unchecked access to sensitive systems on day one. The need-to-know rule is not a joke. It is policy.
